Graeme Onions is out for 3 months+ and also Oliver Newby for Lancs is injured!

It looks like a certain holder of this award has been practising!

With 2 of SA’s batsmen walking when they werent actually out, the 4th 5fer in T20 cricket going to Ryan McLaren, AB taking the gloves and a ridiculous over from Dale Steyn…………

So the Proteas wanted to come out guns blazing and show their fans that they are a great team, they have worked hard since their drop out of the world cup. If it was eventful that we wanted, it didnt dissappoint!

It all happened! those of us who twittered through the event were amazed! After Giraffe’s initial huff at TTO not playing this was soon overridden by some magical work behind the stumps with new gloveman AB! some of his fielding behind the stumps was just magical to watch. Looks like a good move from the selectors providing the other 10 can keep the field tight.

A few early glimpses of  TTO sat on the bench were enough to keep giraffe quiet for a bit longer!

Loots Bosman & Graeme Smith both walked when they werent out – mostly due to the incompetent umpiring!

And THAT over! Dale Dale Dale, it all just went wrong! what an awful over – he got a wicket off a no-ball (dont the bowlers get dropped for that these days??????????????????) and a flurry of wides and no-balls so much that we couldnt contain our laughter!

And to top it all off, the names and numbers on the Proteas shirts were peeling off! Since then CSA & Reebok have issued an apology to the fans.

he kicked ass with 4 wickets 3 of which came from just one over!

yes there were no balls, yes there were wides – but we dont care! bring on NZ!

Theres been mixed reports on whether morne is in the team – it was a no-ball people – get over it! and he certaintly didnt lose the game for them! did you see the sloppy fielding? and that over that cost them dearly?

I hope he’s in otherwise giraffe lady is staging a sit in! and sitting cross legged bloody hurts when ur this tall!
